Having moved numerous times throughout my life, the most difficult part was changing schools...& on & on.
I agree we need to change our minds first & nope you can't change your mind about George Bush!!
Negative thinking can destroy many things that are beautiful, so one really needs to work hard on not having negative thoughts. Through the years I have learned to overcome them most of the time, I do get scared when I let them take over my mind even for short periods of time.

When I am creating I to change my mind continually, just like the little Valentine bendi doll I just finished, I drew one thing & she is totally different from the drawing...go figure. I don't know if it is because of my jumping from one thing to the next but changing my mind can be fun most of the time...don't know if dh would agree on that one though or not.
Big changes do take courage like our recent move, on the whole the move has turned out very well for us, we love our NEW state of New Mexico & the small town that we now live in.
Being familar with the Spirit/God Grant me & so I whole heartly agree with your statement...

"I wish I can change the world to a most peaceful place. I wish I could change it so everyone had enough food, medicine, shelter... all the basics of life.

I wish we all had the compassion and love and courage to bring about this change."

(And then there is the familiar poem:
Spirit/God Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.)

Wishing you & your family a very "Happy New Year" in 2007

Hugs JodyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
