Turqoise Tuesday

I love blue - especially turquoise blue. This was easy to find this morning (also notice a lot more yellow). I had to refrain from uploading all the blue... saving it for next time. It also made me a little sad as I was driving to work, noticing the recycle bins on the side of the road -blue and turquoise. Those were the colors, along with copper that I used in my color erratica book - hoping someday it will return... but these are the colors I love. I have a lot of blue in my bathroom. In Feng Shui, it is the area for blue -wisdom and knowledge.

Yellow is Playful

I didn't see a lot of yellow at first. I don't wear yellow and there isn't much of it here inside. I do have some friends who love it :-) It's a nice color for nature, flowers or fruits.
It's not my first choice of color.
As I went outside though, I became quickly aware of it. Lines in the road, signs (caution), lots of flowers. Funny how the eye quickly spots what the mind is looking for.
My brother is a yellow person. He had on a yellow shirt today. He's had a yellow van, yellow car and he just so happened to be looking at the yellow pages...
If I have to do yellow, it's toned down into an ochre.

In the Pink!

I decided to do the color project... more info later.
Sunday is PINK.
This will get me to carry my camera around with me more.

Finding treasure at the bottom of the muck. When I went around the yard taking pictures, I saw one of my painted rocks at the bottom of the pond. Pond is out of order at the moment, with very little water sitting there.
My thoughts on this one is how once we get through some of the muck in life, we can find a little treasure hidden underneath. Clear away the muck: the worries, fears, doubts, guilts. Once we find the still calm within, the treasures begin to appear.

Magic

If the weather is as perfect as it was today and I am surrounded by beauty - I can handle almost anything.
Roaming in the back yard, observing what was growing. It was a good day to just be.
